This classic Rhône blend of Syrah and Grenache has a garnet red colour and a light to medium body. On the nose, one encounters a summery fruit bowl of red berries, plums and rhubarb, with subtle spicy elements, leather and vanilla in the background. The palate is supple and savoury, the fruity berry characters are underlined by a fine tannin and acidity structure, and the finish reveals delicate spice and floral characters.
Perfect with white and red meat, grilled meat and mature mountain cheese. But of course, also with all kinds of dishes with black truffles, for which this region is also known, in addition to its good wines.
