The vineyards of Hajós-Baja are located on the great Hungarian plain. When the winter season comes around, the grapes are left to ripen on the vine until they freeze and stay frozen for several days before they are picked and pressed. This results in very precious drops of intensely flavoured sweet wine. The palate unites marzipan, chestnut and honey aromas with notes of cherry and raspberry. With a silky texture, warm and round, this is a noble ice wine with a difference. Drink this ice-wine on its own or with dessert, especially ones that feature chocolate.
